October...Happy Birthday Faith!!!

Yes I know this post and the last post were done on the same day, but at least it is getting done.

On the 6th Faith turned 5. We started a new tradition of: Faith get to go to the fair and ride anything she wants to. I got lucky this year because her birthday fell on a "Wendy's" day where it was $20 for unlimited rides. Two of her friends from school were also there that day so she had some one to ride the rides with. They had a blast! There was not a really big crowd there in the afternoon so they were able to ride things over and over again with out having to wait in line. After the fair we went out to eat with MiMi and Papa Ron at the Macaroni Grill, Faith likes there spaghetti. She got to have a small cake to blow the candles out on at dinner.

Her Birthday Party was on Saturday (by the way I am actually getting this posted the day After the party! Yea for me). I of course was worried that no one would show up but we had a good turn out. Only two kids, and a brother, from her class were able to come but with family, friends and such there was still a good crowd. Button the clown was the entertainment and he did a great job! He preformed some magic tricks, made balloon thing and painted either their face or hand. Her cake for the party was Cinderella and Prince Charming, picked out by Faith her self. She got lots of cool stuff. She was a little confused about her birthday was just one day, she thought it was all week (not unlike many other women). The opening of the gifts is something she masted quickly, tell her this is for you and she will tear into it with a quickness. And she is not one to not want to tear the paper it is all about getting it open and seeing what is in side.

The rest of October is going to be MY Birthday, I will be 35 this year, and Halloween. She chose to be a cheerleader. We are going to do a Trunk or Treat at one of the local churches, they will do show and share with their costumes at school on the 29th, and then of course we will make the rounds on the 31st. So she will get to wear her costume at least 3 times maybe more. So I guess the next post with be of Halloween, but lets not get our hopes up about it being like the day after or anything....got to be realistic people, really.
